Mr. and Mrs. Neil Fiddick were in Toronto Tuesday to attend the CNE. While in Toronto they visited Mr. and Mrs. John Boreham, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Pettibone spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lines, Port Dalhousie. • Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Peebles, Waupoos, were home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Peebles and famliy, Kitchener, spent last week with them at their cottage. * * * * B. Bishop, Toronto, was home for the weekend and attended the May-Kelly wedding on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Fiddick and Elaine, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Pettibone and Cindy Taylor spent Thursday arid Friday on a trip to Huntsville and Algonquin Park. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harnden and girls visited Mrs. Harry Waters, Campbellford, on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Johnston and family, Stratford, and Mr. John Archer of Toronto, visited Mrs. R. Joice on Saturday. Mr. Archer will spend a few weeks with his daughter, Mrs. Joice, and family. " Mr. and Mrs. George Reynolds and family, Scarborough spent the weekend with Mrs. Mary O'Connor. Misses Narda and Colleen Taylor, Toronto, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. C. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. K. L. Palmer and children called on Mr. and Mrs. T. McGowan, Cobourg, on Saturday. Mrs. S. Spence entertained several ladies at her home on Thursday evening. James F. Palmer and John Brown of Brighton motored to Limerick Lake on a fishing trip on Sunday. Kenneth Young, Toronto, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Evered Yarrow. Congratulations to the newly-weds, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas May (nee Linda Kely).
