BUDGET: A method of worrying before you spend instead of afterward THERMO-ENGRAVED WEDDING STATIONERY (continued) it is high time something happened, as we were accumulating altogether too much tin and tinsel for correct mobility. If the Boche will only adopt some of the stuff we have left behind I can assure you right here he is ucked. It licked us and will lick any army. What you want in war are bayonets and not some of the pig farms, fat collectors, and all that sort of stuff. Say do you know we had a fellow whose title was Officer Commanding FMes. We have had to create safe vacancies until the thing was getting a bit crowded, and it was rumored that they were about to create a commission of officers to report, why there weren't any vacancies. Of course we were so comfortable that the boche naturally got jealous of our quarters and one foggy morning the 21st of last month he commenced, and he never quit until he had accumulated enough for all of his army. I know this will read like a fairy story, but later on it will all come out; it is a fact. He was going to go right through to the sea, but our dear old Allies owned the land there so they were hustled out of Paris in motor cars and buses and all that sort of thing and disputed the way. The old boche by that time had corns on his feet from walking so far, so he took up his abode in some handy villages close by and is there yet. Of course in this war where you have control of the propaganda it is very easy to start a good story, freckled with a little deep hazy stuff to cloud the public mind about matters that they do not know about, CASTLETON Mr, Mrs. Robert Broomfield, Consejon visited Mr. Mrs- C.
