Several ladies from this district attended the Christmas Be-zaar at Brighton. Mr., Mrs Frank McDonald were Sunday dinner guests of Mr., Mrs Fred Irvin, Brighton. Mr., Mrs Ralph Carman enjoyed three days visiting relatives in Toronto and Guelph. Susan Smith, Kathryn Bellamy and Darlene Davis were a-mong the Colborne HiC gathering at Brighton Trinity St. Andrews Hospital Church Hall, Miss Mary Bellamy has successfully completed her course at Victoria B.C., and is spending two weeks with her parents Mr., Mrs Kenneth Bellamy and sister, Kathryn. Mr. William Everden is a patient in Cobourg General Hosp. Mr., Mrs Bob Carman and family, Toronto spent the weekend with parents, Mr., Mrs Ralph Carman. Mr., Mrs John Fenaughty and Mr., Mrs Cecil Bellamy accompanied Mr., Mrs Monte Males, Brighton on. a four day visit to Delaware, Ohio. Mr., Mrs J Barrett and family, Ottawa spent the weekend with parents, Mr., Mrs Bob Blyth and attended the Country Fair at Salem S.S Hall. Mr., Mrs Bob Lackey and boys were weekend guests with parents, Mr., Mrs H Chatterson and visited Country Fair. Mrs P Hutchinson, English Settlement. Mrs A Blight is a patient in Cobourg Gen. Union Community Club The November meeting of held at the home of Mrs Maria Union Community Club was Lynes, Brighton, Wednesday, Nov. 5. Nine members were present. In the absence cf the President, the hostess, who is vice President, opened the meeting. Following the Creed, the Lord's prayer was repeated in unison. The Scripture reading. Psalm 100 was given by Mrs D Bellamy. Roll call; 'Wear z Poppy." 'Happy Birthday' was sung to all members with November birthdays. After a short business period Christmas Bazaar at Trinity St. the ladies left to attend the Andrews United Church for a very enjoyable afternoon. The December meeting will be at the home of Mrs Evelyn Am-odeo. Pot tack dinner at 12.30, noon; Exchange of Christmas gifts.
