An important post has been given a Northumberland County man. This week Robert F. Nixon, leader of the Opposition, Queen's Park, Toronto, has named staff additions and duty changes. Robin Russell becomes Special Assistant to the Opposition Leader, in the Ontario Legislative Assembly. A past president of the Ontario University Liberal Federation, Mr. Russell was the provin":?l Liberal candidate in Nor' >:r.iberland in 1967. Mr. Russell holds degrees in music (University of Toronto) and political science (Waterloo University College). Mr. Russell had been a Research Assistant to the Ontario Liberal Caucus before becoming Special Assistant to Mr. Nixon. Warren Michaels, Swift Current, Sask., also named to the post of Special Assistant, will be responsible for liaison with all news media in Ont- ROBIN D.
