Mr. and Mrs. Howard Oliver, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Oliver and Kenneth visited Mr. Mrs. Stanley Oliver, Cobourg, Sunday evening. Mrs. Guy Dickens and family, Colborne, called on Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dunk on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Turney, Bowmanville, spent Sunday ght with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chapman. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morrison accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cuthbert to Toronto on Tuesday. A most enjoyable evening was held at Eden United Church on Friday evening when Mrs. Clarence Mutton held a music recital. The parents appreciate very much her work in teaching the children and wish her every suc-;ss in the future. Mrs. Gordon Honey attended luncheon and Presbytery executive meeting in Roseneath United Church on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. George Perault and family, Port Hope, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Johnson and family and Mrs. John Beggs, Campbellford, called on Mr. and Mrs. Archie Samons at "Pleasant View Farm" on Sunday evening. Mrs. Roy Chapman called on Mr. Elton Simpson, Brighton, Sunday afternoon, and was a supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Chapman, Colborne. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stimers attended Salem Decoration Sunday and later called on Mr. and Mrs. Don Farrow, Brighton. Mrs. Tom McDonald and family, Colborne, spent Sunday afternoon and evening with her grandmother, Mrs. A. Petch at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Honey. and Mrs. F. Simpson, Castleton, were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herbie Trottman. A number from here attended Decoration Service at Salem i Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stimers and Mr. George Gummer were dinner guests of Mrs. Cecil Gummer on Sunday evening at the Georgian Restaurant, Brieh-and later called on Mr. Clarence Reddick and Carol. Mr. and Mrs. Herbie Trott-an visited Mr. Herb McDonald in Trenton Memorial Hospital on Monday evening. The June meeting of Sharon W.A. met at the home of Miss Nina Lacey on June 15th with sixteen members and four visitors present. The meeting was opened by theme song and prayer and the meeting was then turned over to Mrs. Art Trenear who had charge of the Devotional. Mrs. Trenear read several passages from Haggai and gave a nice talk from the two chapers followed by prayer all joining in the Lord's Prayer at the close. Several business matters were then dealt with. Mrs. G. Mc-Quoid had charge of the pro-pramme and Mrs. Rist gave a reading, "Religion and Life", and Mrs. McQuoid gave a reading, "What is a Boy?", and Mrs. Verity was then called forward and presented with a farewell gift by Mrs. John Cochrane as Mrs. Verity was leaving for England on June 16th. The meeting was closed by Benediction and a lovely lunch I was served by the hostess and 'lunch committee.
