Mr. Glenn Waite and Connie of St. Catharines spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Wright and Mrs. Waite. Mrs. Kenneth Mutton entertained group two at the home of her daughter and husband, JMr. and Mrs. Neil Taft, Brighton last Thursday, the group includes Mrs. Roy Chapman, Mrs. Frank Morrison, Mrs. Archie Samons, Mrs. Clifford Pogue, Mrs. Fred Irwin, Mrs. Jack Montgomery and Mrs. Mutton. A most enjoyable afternoon was spent by the ladies. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Gresham of Colborne were Monday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Honey. Mr. Harvey Eddy and Walter of Roseneath, Mr. Austin Eddy and Eldred called on Mr. Herb McDonald on Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lackey and family, Georgetown spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Lackey. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Mutton attended Mr. George Mutton's birthday celebration at Shiloh on Monday. A number from here visited the Snider Funeral Home, in Brighton on Sunday and attended the funeral of the late Mrs. Clarence Reddick, Monday Mr. and Mrs. John Bayes and Nora, Markham, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fahey and Miss Helen Petch, Toronto called on Mrs. Gordon Honey and Mrs. A. Petch, Monday afternoon. Mr. Herbie Trottman had the misfortune to collide with Mr. F. Simpson, damaging both of the cars. Mrs. Simpson slightly hurt when her head hit the windshield. Mrs. A. Herrington has returned home after spending several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chapman. Mrs. John Day and Marvin, Castleton visited Mrs. Roy Chapman on Friday.
