Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pomeroy of Toronto were at Mr. and Mrs. Bern Pomeroys. Mr. Marsden Pomeroy of Kitchener was a visitor of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. H. Pomeroy for the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Black and family, Toronto, were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. T. Black. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greenley of Havelock were week-end visitors of Mrs. Chas. Greenley and family. Fred Greenley returned home with them for a few days. The W.A. held a most successful tea and bazaar in the Sunday School Hall on Saturday afternoon. Many visitors present from outside point: The W.I. meeting will be held Thursday evening, December 8th, at 8 o'clock, at the home of Mrs. R. Lawrason. Convener, Mrs. D. Dingwall. All are welcome to this special Christmas meeting. , Mr. and Mrs. Russel Baker of Welcome spent Sunday with Mrs. D. Arkils. Mrs. F. Welton and Kingsley were at Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Wei ton's for Sunday night dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Isaac were in Peterborough on Sunday where they visited their son Don, who is in the hospital there with pneumonia. BUSH SCHOOL by Mrs. C. Jones Mr. and Mrs. Steve Barchuck, and Lloyd were in Toronto Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bush, Norwood, visited Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jones on Saturday evening. Mrs. Harry Vansicklin, Nor-ham, visited Mr. and Mrs Harry Jones on Thursday. Mr. Charlie Jones of Saskatchewan is visiting his parents. Mr. Elwood Jones and children and Mr. Lyle Jones and children called on their parents on Thursday evening. | der for Bus Route No. 1. Moved by Ferguson and seconded by Oliver that the Board accept Mr. John Dunk's tender for Bus Route No. 3. Carried. Moved by Oliver and seconded by Ferguson that the following accounts be paid: Educator Supplies $21.40; Darling's, supplies $20.78; Fred Heagle $2.00; Gordon Smith $12.00; Colborne Chronicle $114.80; Al's Hardware $8.59; C. A. Hoskins $3.50; T. Everden $3.00. Moved by Dunk and seconded by Ferguson that the meeting adjourn. Next regular meeting December 15th, 1960, at 2.00 i. at G. Vanwicklin's house. Hustlers' Auxiliary Twenty-five attended t Hustlers' Auxiliary on Wednesday, November 2nd, held at the home of Mrs. F. Taylor. President, Mrs. E. Thompson, opened the meeting with the W.A. Motto, followed with the Theme Hymn, sung in unison. After welcoming everyone, Mrs. Thompson turned the meeting over to Mrs. H. G. McKay for the Devotional. South Cramahe Twp. School Area Board The regular meeting of South Cramahe Township School Area Board was held on November 24th, 1960, at S.S. No. 9, with Trustees Oliver, Dunk and Ferguson present. G. Vanwicklin was in the chair. The minutes of the last meeting were adopted as read or tion of Oliver and seconded by Dunk. Correspondence was read and dealt with. Moved by Dunk and seconded by Oliver that the Board accept, with regret, Mrs. Beatty's resignation as Music Supervisor, effective December 23rd, 1960, but will accept her offer to teach in the above capacity through January, February and March, 1961, inclusive. Moved by Oliver and seconded by Dunk that a special meeting be called on Monday night November 28th, 1960, to interview agents and decide equipment order for new Central School. Moved by Oliver and seconded by Dunk that tho Caretaker's applications be held over until Monday night's discussion. Moved by Dunk and seconded by Ferguson that the Board accept Mr. Robert Chatterson's tender for fuel oil for new Central School. Carried. Moved by Oliver and seconded by Ferguson that the Board accept Mr. Tom E^erden's ten- Hymn 45, the first three verses of "Dear Lord and Father of Mankind", was followed by the Scripture, Matthew 18:21-35, read by Mrs. G. Smith. Using as her theme, "Forgiveness", Mrs. McKay gave the Meditation, stressing that "True Forgiving is Forgetting". Prayer followed. The final three verses of hymn 45 concluded the Devo- The minutes were read and approved. Reports were received from various conveners and committees. A thank-you note was read from Mrs. Ella Philp and verbal thanks was extended by Mrs. G. Smith. Mrs. D. McLaughlin gave an interesting synopsis of a chapter in the Study Book. Mrs. E. Rowsome and Mrs. M. Campbell sang a beautiful duet, accompanied by Mrs. W. Short, humorous jokes were distributed to everyone and read by. each, bringing the program to a close on a happy, light-hearted note. Thanks was extended to our hostess, Mrs. Taylor, to Mrs. H. G. McKay and Mrs. G. Smith and group for the program and to Mrs. W. Baxter, Mrs. A. Dale and groups for the lunch.
