The League plans to enter an All-Star Team into the O.A.S.A. play downs sometime in August or September. This may change the schedule somewhat; if so, further schedules will be handed out at this time. Stay posted for exhibition games to be played by your home team on the week-ends. The play-offs will follow as soon as this schedule is finished. There will be a two out of three series all the way through. The first place team will play the third and the second will play the fourth. The two winners wfll then play for the play-off Championship. There will be a Cup for the league winning team and one for the Play-off Championship Team. There will also be individual trophies for members on the championship team. The time to' get primed for the future is when you're still in your prime. It's pretty hard to convince the kids that the shortage of teachers is a calamity. Scout And Guide News The Mothers' Auxiliary to the Scouts and Guides,- held a very successful Tea and Bake Sale, on Saturday afternoon in the Presbyterian Sunday School Hall. Proceeds were $62.00 to be divided between Guides and Scouts. The Auxiliary wish to thank everyone for the wonderful co-operation they received also the three guides at the candy table. On May 27th, seventeen members of the Scout and Guide Executive, Leaders of Guides and Brownies, met at the home of Mrs. I. Post to honour Mrs. J. lies with a gift of six coffee spoons with the Scout and Guide crest in appreciation for the splendid help she has been to the Auxiliary for the past few years. A social hour was spent. The same evening Mrs. Geo. Latimer and Mrs. L. R. Martin called on Mrs. Keith Redner and presented her with a Thank You Pin from the Mothers' Auxiliary and the local association, for her several years of splendid service in which she served as District Commissioner to the Guides and Brownies.
