Little Miss Nancy Mulhall entertained little friends at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mulhall, on Monday afternoon. The happy occasion was Nancy's 4th birthday. Mrs. John Cochrane returned home on Monday from Clayton, N.Y., where she has been spending the past two weeks with the Dick Greenizen family, while Mrs. Greenizen has been in the hospital. Wedding A quiet, but pretty wedding as solemized in Toronto on Saturday, December 1st, when Evelyn Nobbs became the bride of Francis John Watkinson of King Edward Avenue. It was a beautiful, sunny clay for this happy event and the Reverend G. Everett Ashton of St. Clair Avenue United Church performed the ceremony. The bride was charming in a street length dress of turquoise satin brocade, with peplum over-skirt, feather head dress, and a corsage of yellow roses. Mrs. Sidney Pearson of Colborne was the bride's only attendant. She was attractively dressed in a soft blue figured dress, white bandeau head dress and a corsage of sweetheart The groomsman was Mr. Gord on MacEachern of Toronto. Following the ceremony a re ception was held at 40 Holland Park Drive, home of Mr. and Mrs. G. MacEachren. The rooms were attractively decorated with pink and white streamers, pink bells and tall pink candles. beautiful three tiered wedd-cake centred the table of the bridal party. The bride's mother received the guests, attractively attired in a blue lace dress with a corsage of pink carnations. Misses Sandra and Susan Pearson, dressed in saphire blue and bright red respectively, and wearing corsages of white mums served the guests. For going away, the bride chose a mink brown suit, with beige accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. The happy couple left on a motor trip to Northern Ontario. On their return they will reside on King Edward Avenue, Toronto The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Hoare of Ed-Guests were present from Salem, Belleville, Colborne and Tor- Do you know Mr. R. E, F. Pacey? There's a good chance that you do. He lives and works right here.
