Denny volunteered to help fit the Junior Band on December 8th with uniforms for the parade which will be on December 12th. The following Fund Raising Projects were discussed and are to be on the agenda for further discussion at the next meeting, Peanut Drive, Pop Bottle Drive, and a Chocolate Bar Drive. Mr. W. Ring reported that the present time is a total enrolment in the Junior and senior corps of 131 members and 71 parents which is twice as many as last Many problems of the Corps were discussed and to eliminate some of (hem the following was decided upon. Watson, Mrs. F. Dale, and Mrs. L. Denny to look into the possibility of new uniforms and also add something to the uniforms that they already have. The group committee chairmen* for 1964-65 will be Mrs. B. Lowery, Mrs. H. Irish, Mrs. F. Dale, Mrs. E. Cammack, Mrs. L. Denny and Mrs. V. Ferguson. It was also decided that to end each meeting the auxiliary would have a cup of tea or coffee and at our next meeting we would have an auction sale. The following are the Santa Claus Parades that the Colborne Recreation Band and Baton Corps will have attended this winter-Trenton, November 21st, the Baton Corps won first prize for best senior corps in the parade; Bow-manville, November 28th; Belleville, December 5th; and Colborne, December 12th. The meeting was adjourned by Mrs. J. Ball. At the present time, the Recreation Committee anticipate approximately 500 persons participating in the parade and approximately 3,500 spectators. Sturgeon of the Ontario TB AS-sociation made this statement when addressing members of the Management Committee of the Northumberland-Durham TB and Health Association gathered at the Riviera Inn, Campbellford, for a dinner meeting recently.
