Chairman Charles Buchanan called the meeting to order at 8.30 r*" reviewed the crop season. The minutes read by Secretary Ralph Banbury were accepted oil motion of Douglas Johnston ana Bill Moore. After discussion of the many activities of the season, it was moved by Gordon Macklin and seconded by Elmer Laver that the annual meeting be this year held on Thursday, December 3rd, _^ at the Agricultural Service Centre. The Codrington ladies were contacted and agreed to serve a noon meal for approximately forty persons. The Secretary was instructed to secure 10() tickets from the Toronto office to be distributed to the members at the annual meeting to give them free admission to the Toronto events of January 27, 28 and 29. I District Director Reg McCann pointed out that the minimum membership of 50 would be expected next year and that the affiliation fee of $5.00 now also covered insurance of any meetings or work done by the organization in regard to accidents. The Secretary was requested to write the eleven corn companies selling in our area suggesting that door and other prizes would be acceptable for this event. A donation of 1 gallon of 2,4-D from the Niagara Brand spray for the pasture npetilion was accepted. Ar--„.igement was made to contact Co-ops at Warkworth and Grafton, Reycraft of Orland, Bishops of Belleville and other interested services to farmers of the County. The Treasurer was asked to prepare a financial statement for distribution. Reports by various co-operators will be welcomed in the forenoon of the annual meeting. During the year, Twilight meetings at Coldsprings and Warkworth were well attended. The special hay-spray day at the Herb Stillman farm and the corn day at the Longstage farm were both well attended.
