Wladyka urges study on need for OHC housing The new Ontario Housing Corporation senior citizens apartments on Wellington Street will be completed in December and the town of Port Hope would like another study of need for more units. Mayor Michael Wladyka said Monday that council had asked OHC to initiate another survey as soon a this building is completed. "One problem in most towns is often a lack of land. In Port Hope we are lucky in that we still have some land assembly property left\ the Mayor said. "Some people object to putting houses of all one type in one area but I say at least it is a roof over their heads", the Mayor argued.
