Recently four issues of the Colborne Express dating from the month of May 1917 were found. These four issues represent the only ones located specifically from the World War I period - six months before the war ended. Photographs were quickly taken of these news clips to give online visitors ready access to this information on this the centenary of the outbreak of World War I. The quality of the images will be improved as time permits and the newspaper collection is digitized.
