Wire candidate for delegate to the Republican National Convention. to the Republican National Convention The 11th Congressional District, composed of the Counties of DuPage, Kane, McHenry and Will, is en- titled to two delegates in the Republican National Convention. Every Republican is entitled to vote for two candidates. John Lambert and William E. Wire believe in the principles of the Republican party. Because of their belief in these principles they have always worked for the success .of the Republican party. Their election as delegates to the Republican National Convention would be a ï¬tting recognition of their services to the party, to which their friends claim they are entitled. 4 - . .1 A, Their choice for the Republican nomination for President, is the Honorable Frank 0. Lowden, the great Governor‘of Illinois, whose work in Illinois during the last three years is not only approved by the people of Illinois, but has attracted nation wide attention. His consolidation of the numerous commissions and State boards has resulted in a great saving to the tax payers, and in greater efficiency in the administration of the affairs of the State. Other States in the Union are adopting the plan. Furthermore, Congress now has under consideration a similar plan, and it is only a few weeks ago that Governor Lowden was called to Washington to appear before Committees of the House and Senate and outline his plan for the consolidation of numerous commissions and departments, un- der proper heads, for the administration of governmental affairs. This is not only a distinct honor, eon- ferred upon no other Governor, but a national recognition of things accomplished in the administration of the peoples’ aff airs. - .__ c o n, It is the duty of every citizen to take the time to vote, because the people should have eetion of their candidates. ‘ V .
