Mrs. F. Wright, of Oelwein, Iowa, is another ome of the million women who have been restored to 'health by Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound. A Young New York Lady Tells of a RVondertal Cure: -- 'My trouble was with the ovaries; I am tall, and the doctor said I grew too fast for my strength. I suffered dreadfully from inflammation and doctored continually, but got no help. I suffered from terrible dragging sen-_ sations with the most awful pains low down in the side and pains in the back, and the most agonizing headaches. No one knows what I endured. Often I was sick to the stomach, and every little while I would be too sick to go to work, for three or four days; I work in a large store, and I suppose stand- ing on my feet all day made me worse, "At the suggestion of a friend of my mother's I began to take Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Com- pound, and it is simply wonderful. I felt better after the first two or three doses ; it seemed as though a weight was taken off my shoulders; I con- tinued its use until now I can truth- fully say I am entirely cured. Young girls who are always paying doctor's bills without getting any helpas I did, ought to take your medicine. It costs so much less, and it is sure to cure them. -- Yours truly, ADELAIDE PRAHL, 174 St. Ann's Ave., New Yerk City." -- $5000 forfeit if original of above lettei proving genuineness cannot be produced. It was Miss Maclachlan's fourth visit to Kingston in two vears and her welcome was as hearty as ever. Theory Advanced as to Fate of the Propeller. Detroit, Mich., Dec. 12.--Since the loss of the Bannockburn, there has been a good deal of speculation as to how so seaworthy a vessel had been lost. It has been related that two years ago the Bannockburn went aground. lt is said that she struck on a reef in such a mgnner that she was carried half way over it and hung by the middle. After been 'released she was taken to harbor Beach and ex- amined by the insurance adjusters and underwriters' agents, and it was con- ceded she had been seriously strain- ed. However, she was never docked, and this fall, but a few days before she went down, she went aground and struck exactly the same way. The strain is thought to have further in- jured her, and the weather she encoun- tered was too much for her, It is like- ly the vessel broke right in two. This is a supposition of a number of the best informed men about the lakes, who are more or less familiar with the boat and the circumstances of her disappearance. Catarrhal Headaches.
