Knapp Comes Very Near Death's Door. Without Hope of a Cure He Tried Powley's Liquified Ozone and Was Pleasantly Surprised With Beneficlal Results. Gradually He Improved, Day by Day Growing Stronger, Until Every Trace of This Usual- ly Fatal Disease Was Eradicated. Jt is with easure a 1 ticulars of i Jee met ' a somewhat and afflicted for about three years past. The several con- sultations 1 have had on the nature of this complaint doubtlessly con- vinces medical men that I was ! suffering from paralycis, and the only advice possible to give under the circumstances was ta keep quiet, with- out any hopes of a Jortect eradication of the disease itself, In order to exhibit to you a more detailed synopsis of the usual opera- tion of the disease I will relate how the last attack proceeded in its course. On May 14, 1908, while spending the day with friends at Shannon strect, the first symptoms appeared in the third finger of the left hand, very similar to agentle shock of electricity. In this manner it crept up ths arm, reaching the brain, when all power of articulate speech ceased and a coma- tose state supervened, lasting about four hours, when sensation gradually returned. Since that time very slight symptoms of ptylism have been ex- perienced, but at present no remains exist. : Now, in order to account for so sud- den a total cure of euch a gencrally fatal affliction, we have to refer to two causes, either the interminate counsels of Higher Powers or the re- sult of happily bavieg taken the con- tents of a small bottle of Powley's Liquified Ozone, taken, not with the hope of curing paralysis, but te try its effect on the system. I have since secn wonderful results from the use of this remedy, and earnestly recommend its application to all sufferers. I am, yours sincerely, (Signed) F. A. KNAPP, 98 Huntley st., Toronto, Ont. Toronto, Oct. 23, 1902. MR. F. A. KNAPP. The Reason Why Ozone Cures, "How is it," enquires a correspond- ent, "that Ozone cures Rheumatism as well as Consumption, Asthma as well as Kidney Trouble, and Catarrk as well as Dyspepsia ?. These diseases are not at all similar, and a medicine that would cure une of them would probably be useless with the other." The answer to this is: Powley's Liguified Ozone is not a medicine. It contains no drugs, but simply cures by destroying disease germs wherever Pe Seedical men are unanimous in stating that nine-tenths of all dis- ease is caused by disease germs in some form. It has been conclusively proven in hundreds of different cases that Ozone destroys these germs and that when they ere destroyed the patient invariably gets weil. It is for this reason that Ozone effects cures that seem almost impossible and it is also the reason it cures so many dif- ferent diseases. Powley's Liquified Ozone is sold only by reliable druggists--never by peddlers. The price 50 cents and $1.00 per bottle. Our free booklet on receipt of your name and address. Had Interred Deceased With Ma- sonic Ceremonial. New York, Feb. 21.--Under the di rection of two officers of the receiving ship Columbia, a squad of tars after dark on Saturday night disinterred the body of Apprentice Walter Schert, one of the victims of the turret ex plosion on the Mas<achusetts, who was buried as Boatswain Hendricksen, with Masonic ceremonies several hours earlier in the day. Schert, it is said, was a Catholic. The opening of the grave and the removal of the body was followed by the substitution of the body of Hendricksen, which had been left by mistake in the hold of the Ajax, the ship that brought the nine victims. The mistake was made by those in charge of the coffins aboard the Ajax, and it was not discovered until long after Cambridge Lodge, 662, had tak- en the body of their supposed fellow- Mason, to the Naval cemetery and in- terred it. After a careful consultation on all the circumstances it was decided to «av nothing of what had taken place. The disinterment and substitution of bodies of the two sailors was to be made after nightfall, and the tars par- ticipating were instructed to keep the matter a secret. The twelve men se- lected from the Columbia, were sworn to secrecy. » After Schert's body. had been. dug ap and the earsh replaced on the body of Hendricksen, a detail of men ship ped the remains of Schert to his friends at 373 Cleveland avenue, Chi- cago. The fact of the mistake and its cor rection was admitted aboard the Col umbia last night, although no one was willing to fix the blame. Hend ricksen is without relatives in this country.
