X., March 10.<~Three babes were killed in a fire in the An- chorage, a home for unfortunate young women in this city, on Sun day night. The children with three others whose 'mothers are inmates of the ingtitution, were put to bed in rooms on the second floor of the building and their mothers were at- tending the Sunday , evening lecture and devotional services downstairs.
