London, Dec. 15.--~A Moscow eorres- pondent of the Times, says: The ex- istence of a well-organized Armenian revolutionary plot in the Caucasus, is officially recognized by M. Plehve. There is every reason the correspond- ent adds, to believe that the army re volutionary party is ebout to turn from a propaganida of their views, to armed opposition to Russian adminis- tration. M. Plehve"s confiscation of the Armenian church property possi- bly will prove not the least unfortun ate of his measures of repression. A Russian correspondent of the Times says: Reports from Baku state that the Armenians and Jews are in mourning, and refuse to visit the the atres or other places of amusement, This is done as a demonstration of protest against the high-handed meth- ods of the government. Though the Kishineff trial has been in progress for twenty-two days, the case agwinst the first batch of 27 persons charged with actual murder, has not been conclud- ed. The advocate engaged in the case says the evidence against the bulk of these men is overwhelming. Several advocates on the Jewish side, threat en to throw up their briefs unless a number of prominent persons, includ ing the vice-mayor of Kishineff, are put in the dock for inciting the popu- laze to sack the Jewish houses.
