Murder : Double Life Led By Wealthy And Heretofore Respected Woman. Butte, Mont., June 28.--In a sensa- tional statvment made by him before his death, Richard J. His story disclosed a remarkable double life that has been led by Mrs. Morri- son. In the West Side of this city Mrs. Morrison has maintained a fine home for herseli and her two sons, and was as, a model mother. Accord: ing to Finnegan's statement, howev- vr, she kept a little cabin near ' the graveyard, which he occupied, and where she spent a great deal of her time. About three o'clock in the morning Finnegan was awakened by a shot, the bullet striking his head. He tried to rise and was, shot again, the sec: ond ball grazing his forchead. Finnegan stageered into a saloon hear his cahin after the shootine. "I am done for; get a doctor," he ex claimed as he entered. With these words he reeled and fell to the floor. The police and friends of the man attempted to get him to reveal the identity of his assailant. He declined. however, until some hours after . the shooting. Appreciating. that the end was near he made a sworn statement a few minutes before his death, de claring that it was Mrs. Morrison who shot Rim.
