Such an anomalous state of affairs naturally excites curiosity. It is quite possible to be amply fed but not well nourished. For instance, thin people have a voracious appetite, yet are seldom satisfied and if the truth were known they live an existence os semi- starvation. It is not the quantity of food eaten that makes firm flesh and bodily strength; its hat wo actually digest and assimilate, so that the happy medium between the very thin and the unduly stout is good health. Thin people can't become fat unless the stomach and digestive organs are made to do their work properly. In all the range of medicine probably no remedy accomplishes such marked re digestion and diseased stomachs. Food is at once tramsformed into the kind of nutriment that is appro- priated by the blood and tissue, re- sulting in the formation of hard, firm flesh. You will have a sweet stomach and enjoy your meals. Everything contribute to the welfare of the body. Ferrozone is a wonderful rebuilder. There had been many a discussion before the matter came up in the Pres- byterian Assembly at Vancouver last year. To the surprise of many of the fathers and brethren, Rev. Dr. Robert Campbell, announced that the govern- ing body had never altogether been a unit with the late Principal Grant and had merely deferred to his strong desire at the time. This speech re-op- ened the whole question, and the gen- eral assembly at Vancouver gave its voice very decidedly in the direction of holding Queen's for the preshytery, and appointed proper authorities to consider the matter. Lest the assertion that last year's verdict was really a snap judgment should prevail, the general assembly again took the mat- ter into its consideration this year and decided by & standing vote that Queen's must remain in their control. It is to conclude the arrangements necessary for this that the meeting is to be held on Thursday forenoon. - SPORT REVIEW. Other Sports. A swarm of bees settled down over the bleechers during a baseball match at Des Moines, the other day, and stung more than 100 of the spectat- ors, creating a panic. Brantford prople are very well pleas- ed with the showing made by their re- presentatives against the Shamrocks, and expect them to finish the C.L.A. season strong. Pray what kind of a showing did the Brantfords make ? Charles Jeffries, left Mielder of the Johnstown baseball club, was struck by lightning at McKeesport, Pa., and died almost instantly. The team had just finishbd practice and Jefiries was in the act of throwing the ball to se- cond base. The "Grand OK Man" of baseball, as Henry Chadwick of New York, has often been called, is in Toronto. He is in his eighty-fourth year, but he still takes an active interest in the game which he was so greatly a factod in originating. { Little Cause For Grumbling. It sometimes is necessary to remind the people that the walks and roads of this cityyare in as good condition as those of any other place in the province of Ontario, and.
