The Old Boys' Home-Coming. A conference of the officers of the Kingston Old Boys' Association was held this morning relative to what should be done in the way of cele: brating thé' home-coming on July 30th and August 1st of the old boys from Ottawa, Toronto and elsewhere. As an instance of how badly plans of the city sewers are required, the case of the corporation digging all to- day to find' the juncture of the Bagot and Brock street sewers is a rood one. The Brook street sewer was flooding cellars, ete., and it was only late this afteriioon" after digging all over the street intersections at that point that the juncture was located. Paul Desjardins' little boy. got his leg badly smashed up by being thrown from horseback at Pembroke, and dragged for several acres by the foot that was canght in the stirrup. When rescued from his awful position the limb was so badly shattered that am- putation was necessary.
