Wednesday moming a petition was filed with Surrogate Mead, asking that an order he issued directing Patrick Culhane to show cause why a partial division of the estate should not be made and at least £1,200 bo paid to each beneficiary. . Miss Culhane left no will and died posseased of an cstate valued at $6, 183.38, all but $900 of which is in cash, the 3900 being a mortgage. She left u sister, Bridget Culhane, and two brothers, James and Patriek Cul- hane, all of whom reside at Read, Hastings county, Ont. Patrick Cul- hane was appointed administrator of the estate and the other brother and gister join in the petition for a divi- sion of it.
