The cabinet ministers who received the Kingston deputation in Toronto on. Wednesday were Premier Whitney and Hon. Messrs. Pyne, Willoughby, Monteith, Cochrane and Matheson. The deputation was really an Eastern Ontario one, as it consisted also of these castern members of the legisla ture: Messrs, Dargavel, Preston, Care scallem, Gallagher, Paul, Fergusun and McGarry, who all supported King- ston as a normal school centre. One half hour was given the deputation, which was introduced by Mr. Dar gavel, Mr. Pense was the first speaker, a two-minute, speach, he pointed out the general advantages afforded by Kingston. He was followed by Messrs, Gallagher and Paul, wembers for Frontenac, and Addington respective ly.
