Goods Companyt-Canadian Fisher- men Protest Against Favors to- U. S. Firms. Windsor, Ont, May 10---A. W. Davidson bas issued a writ to recover $10,000 damages from Thomas Wat- son, of the Windsor Turned Goods company. Davidson was ome of the original stockholders of the com- pany, and was also manager. Three vears ago he was forced to go south for his héalth, Watson, who was an assistant to . Davidson, took charge during the latter's absence. When havidson returned, he found his place as manager filled. He still retained his interest in the company. Last week the Turned Goods company's plant was disposed of to American capitalists. Now Davidson has decid- «l to have his case aired in the courts. He alleges that Watson told stories to the directors of the com- pany, which resulted in his suspen- sion as manager, also damagine his standing, as a business man. The question whether the fisherman along Lake St. Clair had the right to catch the fish which were svizedl by government inspectors at Niagara Falls is to be decided by a govern ment investigation.
