Boston, Mass,, June 11.<From all over the world members of the Chris- tian Science church gathered in Bos- ton during last week to attend the dedicatory exercises of the new edi- fice on Falmouth street on Sunday. The church is ome of the largest temples. of worship in the world, the seating capacity being over 5,000, The dome rises 224 feet above the side walk, and is more than twice as large as the dome' of the state house. The first floor is given over so directors' and other committee rooms, a recep. tion room and a room for Sunday school. The great auditorium, on the socond floor, has two tiers of galleries on ope side and three on the other. The dome ceiling is supported by arches that spring from pillars, and the walls are decargted with carved and colored © marbles representing scenes from the Bible, The church will contain rare pieces of art, gathered from all over the world, but there is nothing more wop- derful than the organ. Nowhere is there a more beautiful, more musical of more capable instrument. In reality 'it is a combination of six organs with 72 stops, 190 couplers and 4,538 pipes, the largest of which is thirty-two feet long. Attached to the organ is a met of cathedral chimes, situgted in one of the towers.
