On Wednesday morning, at sit o'clock, a very pretty wedding was solemnizéd at "The Elms," Tichborne, the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Brad- shaw, when their daughter, Mary Kl- len, was united in marriage to Law- rence A. Cameron, formerly cashier of the K. & P. railway company, King- ston. Rev. John Boyd of Kingston, performed the ceremony, which took place on the lawn under the shade of the beautiful trees surrounding the home. The wedding march was played by, Miss Mabel Richards, Kingston. The bride was given away by her father and looked charming in a gown of cream taffeta silk, carrying a bouquet of cream _ roses, her bridal veil falling over all. The bride's sister, Miss Jenny, made a: dainty brides- maid, wearing a frock of white organ: die, and carrying a pretty bouquet of white carnations and maiden hair fern. Miss Evelyn Cameron, sister of the groom, as maid of honor, was be- comingly - gowned' in white voile, The groom, who was very popular while in Kingston, was ably supported. by Samuel Y, Sleeth of Kingston. The groom's gift to the bride was a gold necklace,- to the bridesmaid, pearl crescent pins, and to the groomsman, a fleur-de-lis stickpin. ° After the ceremony the guests, who numbered about 'one hundred, entered the dining room, where a dainty wed- ding breakfast awaited them, the ta- bles being decorated with carnations and ferns, The bride's going-away suit was of navy blue panama oloth with jaunty hat to match. The happy cou- ple drove to the station amid a show- er of rice and old slippers. Their trip, which will be an éxtended one. will be to the west, touching at Winnipeg, Brandon and Minnedosa, The Tide's presents were beautifal and useful, conspicuous one being a clock Present, ed hy the staff of the K. & P. railway company.
