YANKEE ROGERS WON Perrelli in Falls, Montreal, Jan. 12.--Yankee Rogers won from Perrglli, in straight falls, at Sohmer Park, last night, in 44.40 and 24.03 minutes respectively. Both men showed imbroved form, and guve au good exhibition of catch-as-catch- -can, especially so in the second round, the end of which showed both with marks of the fray, although no undue rough- ness was indulged in. Rogers was 'twenty pounds the heavier, and this worked to the loser's disadvantage. The first round was won = by Rogers with a scissors hold and half Nelson, although he was kept busy covery minute. In the second bout Rogers uged the same bold to ad- vantage, but varied it more with a leg half Nelson, a hold not commonly seen here. With his feet about Per- relli's neck he forced the Italian over in somersaults, leaving him in a bad way. It was this that brought on the second fall, a hammer-lock completing the trick. Lundin and Rogers are on for next weck at mixed sty,es. ! From Straight Dramatic Club Dissatisfied.
