New Liskeard, May 10.--Word has just been received from Larder Lake of two wonderful gold strikes made by the Blue Bell company. One strike was made at the east epd of the lake and ome at the west end, where this company has large holdings. It is said that after the blast was fired some of the ore hung together by the pure wire gold and that the vein ex- posed showed gold in plain view. This strike was made on the pro- perties owned by the Blue Bell com- pany at the east end of the lake. The other strike is on the property near the west end, where the Blue Bell company has estaMlished another camp and where the company's engi- neers have installed an assaying office for their own special use. This strike is said to have developed a quartz vein exceeding 100 foot in width, which shows free Visible gold in astonishing quantities.
