The famously clever Mysterious "Mr. Raffles" commences operations in this city at midnight, Sunday, Nov. 8th, 1908, in the interests of The Kingston British Whig. He will mingle with our people, talk to our police and business men and still attempt to conceal his identity. It seems impossible, yet this smooth-faced man feels confident he can do so. SBS50.00 IN GOL.D will be paid to the first man, woman, boy or girl capturing him and giving . him the proper salutation. You Must Say it Right as follows: "You are the Mysterious 'Mr. Raffles' of The Kingston British Whig," and you must have a copy of the latest edition of The British Whig on you at . the time of the capture. Conditions of the Contest The Mysterious "Mr. Raffles" will com- mence operations in this City at mid- night on Sunday, November 8th, 1908, and will defy any person to catch him betore 8 pm. on Wednesday, Nov. 18th, 1908.
