A DOUBLE TRAGEDY MAN SHOOTS MOTHER OF} SEVEN CHILDREN. She Had Deserted Her Husband, But Later Returned to Him--- Then Her Lover Used Weapon on Herself and Himself. Washington, D.C., Jan. 15.--Because she had returned to her husband, from whom she had separated, Mrs. Lizzie Harbin, aged forty-one, and mother of seven children, was shot and killed at her home, in this city, by Frederick Kraemer, a painter, twenty-two years old, employed in the navy yard, who then turned the weapon upon himself and inflicted wounds which proved fatal. The police say that the cireum- stances of the tragedy indicate that probably there was an agreement be- tween the man and woman to die to- gether, "Recently * Mrs. Harbin became estranged | from her husband, Daniel {arbin, as the result of Kraemer's at- entions, it is said, but for the sake of the children they agreed to live to- gether again.
