On Friday afternoon, John McDou- gull, superintendent of the city refuge, passed pescefully away at his home. The late Mr. McDougall was well- known in the city, having lived here for many years. He was born in Tobermory, Argyllshire, Scotland, fifty-seven years ago, coming to this country when a young man. For a number of years he was connected with the grocery store of W. R. Me- Co., leaving there four years | ago to take the position he held till { his death. Six years ago he was mar- ried to Miss Helen Maclnnes, Ottawa One sister, Miss Scotland, also survivee.
