Dr. Shaw, the coroner, was at once notified, and it is understood an inquest is unnecessary, as his death was purely accidental Deceased was about fifty-five years of age and a highly respected resi- dent, and his untimely death has cast a gloom over this locality, where he was so well and favorably known Deceased was formerly a resident of Mallorytown. He leaves a widow and two grown-up children: Mrs. Thurston, Alexandria Bay, and Fred- erick Adams, an engineer, also of Alexandria Bay. 8 Has Been Asked to Act. On Saturday Dr. Geo. W.
