Tea being over, the most inter- esting feature began when the little parcel, containing a number of small- er ones. Much merriment prevailed, as each mysterions package was untied, and the accompanying verse read; the articles were useful and ornamental for the kitchen, one, a large grater tied with a beautiful bow of white tihbon, and a toaster, with very leverly-written verses attached, dust pan, flour sifter, strainers\soap shak- er, cake tins of various sizes, bowls, etc. The guests all enjoyed them- selves thoroughly, one young lady be- ing heard to remark it was "simply perfect." Er + & A happy picnic party drove down i in a van to "Cartwright's Point" this afternoon. The party consisted of some of the younger girls and some of the recruit class cadets. The young ladies were Miss Jean Young, Helen Uglow, Edith Hague, Lillian Mundell, \ileen Folger, Mollie Saunders, Elda Mcbowell, Ada Petrie, Freda Burns, and Gwennith Merrick. The cadets were Messrs. Hutchison, Leech, Lefroy, Fieher, Edwards, Miller, Bond, Lati- mer and Benand. They were chaperon- el by Mrs. Archibald Young, and Miss Ada Bates also went to assist Mis.
