Thers has been some friction between the military leaders of Gananoque over the action of the commander of the Sth Field Battery in taking some mem bers of the Macdonald Cadet Corps. to camp at Petawawa. The, cadet officers orotested against his action, sod re ferred the matter to Lieut. -Col. Hem- ming, DOC, Kingston, who has sent his report to ihe militia department. It is snderstood that the field battery commander was justified in taking the cadets to camp. Some of them were over age, aod the rest who went re ceived the consent of their parents.
