Watson was the chief and he had a role that was decidedly funuy. Rose and Arthur Boylan made a great hit in their "Dance of the Rose." The interest in the play "St. Elmo" is not confined to any class or age of men and women. The book has been very popular with the last three gen- erations and the management asserts that it is no unusual thing to see three generations of one family at a performance. The character of Edna Fal is undoubtedly as appealing as any in fiction, and the regeneration of St. Mmo Murray through her love is a tale of which one never tires.
