Last night, the second game in the round was played and decided the matter, Queen's winning out by seven goals to Cadets six, the winning goal | being scored within less than two min- 'utes of full time. On five different oc casions the teams were a tie, the ex- citement being intense, Cadets started foff with t blood, and shortly after rds added another, Sutherland and nith doing th® neediul. Queen's then got going Jly, and quickly scored {two s, Elliott and Box being the {ones to beat the Cadets' goal tender. Then (Queen's secured one more and 'took the lead. Cadets pressed hard land for the second time the score was a tie, three goals each. Cadets added tnnother and Queen's reciprocated with , and again the teams were tied. Two good games are promised. Picton Here To-morrow. prove to be one of the prettiést of the season. It is true Frontenacs expect to win, but the calibre of hockey will be far more interesting to watch from a purely exhibition standpoint than if the teams were more closely matched. The wonderful stick-handling and team work of the Frontemacs will weil re- pay those who attend. The "Rooters Club" and 14th band will be on hand without fail, and this in itself will prove a most delightful innovation. By all means be on hand at to-morrow night's game, if you want to see some oa dows of tot George Vanhorn will referee. Won and Lost. Tn the games in the Central Ontario Curling league, here, yesterday, the seniors were defeated by Napanee by four points, and tae juniors won out in their games, by seven points. The ice was in good condition, and a big crowd turned out for the games. Owing to the fact. that the train from Napanee was a couple of hours late, it was rather late when the curlers got on the ice, and as a result it was 1 a.m., when the games were concluded: The senior zames resulted as fol- lows : 5 Skip Ham, Napanee, 25; Skip Slit- er, Kingston, 19; Skip Boyes, Nap- anee, 9; Skip Sills, Kingston, 11. The junior games resulted as lows: Skip McDonald, Kingston, 21; Skip Edwards, Napanee, 10; Skip Asselstine, Kingston, 14; Skip Taylor, Napanee, 18, In these series Kingston . seniors have won two games and lost one; Belleville and Napanee have each won and lost one; Brockville has lost one.
