The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kelsey died on Tuesday. W. Crozier's baby boy has been very ill with pneu- monia, but is recovering. Peath at Mill Haven. Millhaven, March 7.~Amelia Wemn, wife of Frederick Wemp, of this place, departed this life on Thursday last. Mrs. Wemp had been sick for a couple of vears. Her husband took her to her mother's at Chatham, over a year ago, with a hope that she would en- joy the change and rally from the weakness that had for months pros- trated her. About six months ago they brought her home. She wae widely known and univer sally esteemed for her amiable | dis- position and loving heart. She was in every respect a most amiable lady and the most profound and wide spread grief is felt at her decease early in life. Her husband and three children have the entire sympathy of the community in their bereavement. She was forty-one years of age. The funeral service took place from her Jate residence on Saturday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. Mr. Snider of Bath. The body was viewed by a large circle of relatives and friends, and then conveyed to C. Forward's vault, to await interment in the fam ily plot at Bath. SO Presentations at Sunbury. Sunbury, March 7.--The Orange so- ciety met an Thursday evening and presented Robert Shannon and Charles Shannen with mantel clocks of fine design and appearance, together with an address, in recognition of them as members for a lengthy term. Robert Shannon has been a life-long member and has held the highest positions the lod can give, and the lodge, as ' a body, will regret his departure for the golden west. His son, Charles, has also been an active member and has also received different honors from the lodge by filling important offices, and in going west they. take with them the best wishes of the society, whose only wish is for their continued health und happiness, The entertainment in the village hall on Wednesday evening was fairly well attended.
