AUTOPSY ON BODY OF GEORGE PALMER. MRS. . -- a Death' Resulted From Causes--Driver of a Waggon Made the Discovery. To leave one's wife at home in the morning apparently as well as could be and to come home in the evening and find her dead would be a shock for any husband. That was the perience of George Palmer, who is employed at R. J. Lawler's liquor store, and who resides on King street west. Mr. Pal left his home om Natural bank. "The Saturday mornigig at 35.30 o'clock to £0 to bis work, and left his wife' at home apparently as well as she ever was. Saturday being a busy day he did not go home for his dinner, but took it down town. When James Hol- laud, driver; for R. J. Lawler, went to the home about seven o'clock in the eveping with son meat he called to Mrs. Palmer that he had left the meat. She did not answer' and he called the second and third time with no response. He entered the room and saw Mrs. Palmer lying in the ted. He went to arouse her and found that she was dead. He imme diately notified her husband and tele- phoned the hospital. The hospital notified Coroner Mundell, as there were evidences of straggling, and the body was distorted. The remains were removed to the undertaking parlors of S. Corbett on Saturday evening. Coroner Mundell decided that a post-mortem examination was neces- sary, so Ur.
