Some Desirable Things Had to be Put Aside for This Year--The Proposal of the Children's Aid Society. ; The anuual meeting of the ome for Friendless Noy, and Children was held in the bome, with a Lood attendance, on Wednesday afternoon, with Dr. A. E. Ross in the chair. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary, Mrs, Hugh Macpher- son, and adopted. The report of the president, Mrs. W. H. Macnee, was most encouraging. During the year sixty-six children were cared for, an increase of twenty-three over last year. and several children have been placed in homes.
