Drury, Besmsyille, Ont., writes as follows : "For eighteen years 1 have been increasingly m- pressed with the wonderful efiects | good wrought by 'Dr. William" Pink Pills. For some yesvs § had sufiered almost constantly 'with chronic dys pepsia of the most stubborn' type, at- tended by different other troubles, which invarishbly' follow, or accom pany it Hs "its , prominent among which were kidney trouble and piles. Against this complication of disease | waged a vigorous warfare for several months, wsing many dif- ferent remedies, nope of which gave permanent' relief. In my di ager ment 1 was about to discontinue treat- ment altogether when 1 was advised by a friend to try Dri Williams' Pink Pills, the use of which, though under very unfavorable circumstances, soon revived my drooping courage. The medicipe struck at the root of my weakness, and the different troubles of which dyspepsia was the prime cause released, let go, and disappesr- ed. In one faonth 1 i A unds ip weight, and received a pew ease of life. Only six boxes of pills produced this wonderful change in my health, which was miraculously per- manent, Later my sister became so reduced by aneemia ythough' under the care of our family doctor) that she could scarcely walk. In this dangerous ex- tremity, Dr. Williams' Pink Pills were resorted to and in a brief space of time restored her to perfect health. Being a minister of the gospel many test cases have come under my notice, in alt of which Pr. Williams' Pink Pills have fully sustained their world: wide reputation. This is why | ean conscientiously. recommend Dr, Wil- liams' Pink Pills us being superior to anything known to me in the treat- ment of the many disenses for which they are recommended.' ----------ir---- The Great Waterway. Hamilton Herald. Berlin, Ont, is the birthplace of two big things. . There the Hydro:Electric power project was boro. Another great movement wes started at the same place 'by the same man--the Great Waterways Umion of 'Canada, Municipal representatives and mem- bers of boards of trade met in Berlin, and after hearing Mr. Detweiler out- line his scheme, formed the organiza- tion mentioned. The scjffme is to bring about with all poséible speed the enlargement of the Welland and St. Lawrence canals. It is a very large scheme. But it is practicable. The great thing is to get the Dominion government committed to it in preference to the rival Georgi- an Bay canal scheme. These two pub- lic works cannot be gone on with at the same time. Together, they are too gigantie even for the large resources of Canada, The one for which 'there dis the greatest nbed, the one which is the most practicable, the one which will ensure the greatest public benefirs, should first be undertaken and com- pleted. There is no doubt about which of the two schemes answers that de- scription. Jt is the Welland and St Lawrénce = waterways. Phe Great Wa- 'terways Union of Canada starts with the advantage of having a just cause ito promote. May it succeed. Oceans Cover Wide Area.
