Kingston, in which corps he served until his death. He was -a battery sergeant-major for fourteen years. He also served in the North-west rebellion In April, 1911, he was given thé honorary title of lieutenant and district officer Atgthe time of his death .he had thré medals for seryice. He leaves to mourn a beloved wife and five children, four sons and one daughter, at home, and one sister, Mrs. Neville, Moritrdal.
