"Leo the Royal Cadet," which comes to the Grand Opera House on June 3rd, 4th and 5th, is a patriotic military opera of unusual interest and should be greeted with bumper houses at every performance. The opera tells a pretty little story of modern life aptly fitting the present time of war in Europe. Its military character gives it brightaess, the ac- tion moves hurriedly from start to fiinish, the muisic is ecatehy,! the songs tuneful, and the choruses spirited. The entire production is characterized by scenic elegance and a wealth of local color and . detail that brings the faraway lapd of Af- rica cloge to everyone in the audi- ence. The company, composed of beautiful maidens, captivating dudes, dashing cadets and terrible Zulus and ladies drum comps, is sup- ported by a trained orchestra of mu- sicians, all thoroughly versed in the intricacies of the score. Vaudeville To-night The vaudeville entertainment at the Grand last evening was witness- ed by a large and well pleased audi- ence." The same bill will be present- ed this evening. For Thursday asd the balance of the week "Leo the Royal Cadet" will occupy the house.
