Timmons'. { COLEBROOK June 9.--As a result of the open- ing of the Hornerite camp meeting on its camp ground at Yarker, there is an extraordinary amount of tra- vel on the street through this place, especially on Sundays, which is cau- sing many. serious as well as other accidents. Marshall Hart with his wife and four children were return- ing home from the meeting, Sunday night. He stopped in front of his mo- ther's home for a short conversation when two rigs came along racing. One of them caught in Mr. Hart's rig and threw him out. His horse started across the road throwing Mrs. Hart and the children out. One who clung to the rig until the horse was captured. The children were un- harmed but Mrs. Hart's leg was bro- ken just above the ankle. She was carried into Mrs. P. Hart's place when the doctor was called and set her broken limb. She has remained there ever since and will be for some time before she will be able to be re- moved home. There is one place between this and Yarker where the road runs near the river, and is very narrow and on a curve with many bushes growing along the sides which makes it impossible to see rigs until one gets right vp to them. Consequent- ly many a horse becomes frightened and many rigs are broken and ruh- aways occur, Mumps are very prevatfnt in the village.
