At the Board of Works meeting on Tuesday afternoon, it was decid- ed to secure tenders for a concrete and asphalt mixing plant for road making. The City Engineer esti- mated that $2,200 would buy the amount of machinery the city had | leased this past summer from the | Kingston Construction Company. The latter replied that its plant was | not for sale, the Board of Works to pur- chase it. Polson, jr., asked the Board to construct a sewer in King street near St. Lawrence avenue to drain his father who intended to build a residence next spring. At present there is no sewer on that part of King street. Residents have comstructed private sewers into the harbor.
