Our Wagon Will Call, 149 to 157 BROCK STREET IN McKAY £1 ited 'CONSERVE UNION WITHOUT CRISIS Prof. W. Q. Jordan's Opinion Is Against irrevocable Ac= tioh at Present. Prof. W..G. Jordan, of Queen's Theological College, hitherto a sup- porter of Chuch Union, has issued a pamphlet in which 'he expresses his belief that a mistake was made in RIT, the war, and that the result of the recent vote of the Presbyterian peo- ple does not warrant the majority in demanding immediate and irrevoc- able action. The statement of some Unionist leaders, that they are ready to face a split, is liable, he says, to cause alarm and anxiety but the Gen- eral Assembly he thinks, will prob- ably seek to conserve the spirit of union without forcing a crisis in the present condition of our national af- fairs, 4 Sunrise Court Justice of the Peace George Hun- ter held a "sunrise session' of his court on Monday morning, owing to the holiday.
