'Déceased Soldiers' Estates. The Department of Militia and Defence has sent a list of names of deceased soldiers to the Great War Veterans' Association asking that it be posted in a conspicuous place. The next of kin of these soldiers are un- known to the authorities and conge- quently their estates cannot be dis- tributed. It is hoped that members of the association who frequent the club rooms might recognize in the name former companions in arms and be able jo give information as to the whebeabouts of relatives. There are 118 names on the lst, and oppo- site each name is given the number of the unit in which the man served. 'Among the names are those of two former members of the 21st Battalion, viz., Pte. W. Proctor, No. 59814, and Pte. L. 8. Peveielle, No. 59796. .
