The Canadian War Loans and Peo- ple's Savings, Between June 30th y and October 31st last year there wie a net creise of eighty-five millions in C ol adian savings deposits with the char-| tered banks. B.C. Mines Dividends. Five leading companies of British Columbia have paid dividends for the first six months of 1918, totalling $1,630,337. Cunard Steamship Company. The Cunard Steamship Company, according to the annual report just issued, earned net of approximately $5,600,000 in 1917.
