There is no cause for panic, Caro is necessary. Taken in time the great majority of patients promptly re- cover, To assist in checking the epidemic a Kingston branch of the Ontario Emergency Volunteer Health Aux iliary has been formed with a strong band of workers. The objects of the auxiliary are: (a) to prevent con- tagion by giving instruction as to what precautions should be taken by those who lave not already been af- flicted; (b) to teach those called upon to look after the sick what should be done to hasten recovery: (¢) to pro- vide- a staff of volunteers to nurse and undertake domestic duties, as the call for nurses and * other help is greater than the supply. Each af- térnoon until further notice, at 4.20 p.m., explanations by medical men Building, Queen's University, of the bature of the. present sickness, the cause of its rapid spread, thé best methods of preventing contagion and securing the return to health of those afflicted.
