The world war will end this morning at six o'clock Washington time, or 11 o'clock Paris time. : This announcement was made verbally by an official of the State Department in this form: "The armistice has been signed. It was signed at five o'clock a.m. Paris time, and hostilities will cease at 11 o'clock this morning, Paris time." The terms of the armistice, it was announced, will not be made public until later. Washington, Nov. 11.--The world war ended at six o'clock this morning, Ontario time) with red revolution in Germany and with William Hohenzollern, former Emperor, a fugitive from his native land. : i London, Nov. 11.10.45 a.m.--The period given for the evacuation of the left bank of the Rhine by German forces has been extended by twenty-four hours, ac- cording to French wireless despatch. | | London, Nov. 11.-The former German Emperor's party, which is believed to include Field Marshal von Hindenburg, arrived at Eysden, on the Dutch frontier at 1.30 o'clock on Sunday morning, according to the Daily Mail advices. Practically the whole German general staff, accompanied by the former Emperor and ten auto- mobiles carried the party. The automobiles were bristling with rifles, and all the fugitives were armed. The ex-Kaiser was in uniform. He alighted at Eysden station and paced the platform, smoking a cigarette. The former Emperor did not look in the least dis-* tressed. % . London, Nov. 11.--4.45 a.m.--The arrival of William Hohenzollern, the former German Emperor, witlrhis wife and eldest son, has caused excitement and much uneasiness among the Dutch authorities, and the public of that country, says a despatch to the Telegraph from Rotterdam. It is unofficially stated that the refugees dd uo obtain authorization from Holland to enter the country, and crossed the frontier in the neighborhood of Eysden because the Dutch neutrality guards were weak at that point. s | "3 Copenhagen, Nov. 11.--A neutral who left Berlin on Friday says that the revolution was spreading in Germany without any possibility of preventing the move- ment, The Government knew it and wisely was not trying to suppress it by force.
