Zion Sunday school also held a tree and concert on Christmas eve, and a good time was enjoyed. The many friends of Mrs 7. Hyland are pleased to hear she is recovering fro ma serious attack of influenza. W. Esford and bride re- cently came to reside on the Isle of Man. Erwin Caird and Melvin Johnston secured the wood contract and James Boal was the newly elected trustee. I'he annual cheese meeting was held Thursday night. Nearly all the pat- rons were present. The business of the past year was settled very factorily. The loss that the cheese wsaker sustained during the sum- mer by a defective boiler was made up to him by the patrons. For next year the patrons agreed to pay $2 2 owt. for the making of the cheese and to share a certain percentage for supplies. The same managing committee were re-elected, except Sidney Caird, who intends moving in the spring and John R. Sleeth was elected in his place. John Robb acted as chairman and Douglas Anglin as secretary for the evening. It was a very successful meeting and everyone seemed pleased. Frank Moliroy is home again, looking hale and hearty.
